Anonymity (2007/2013) is “a ready-to-wear accessory which allows preemptive non-disclosure of the users identity at will. Allowing control over her anonymity as needed. Anonymity intentionally stays on the edge between playful and critique to reveal the underlying surveillance. Over 1200 participants are given a pair of editioned wearable black bars and are CCTV recorded. Exterior footage is viewable in the interior exhibition. In the linear sense, the surveilled become the surveillance.”
